Photograph of the Month – February 2008
Kiama-Shellharbour Camera Club’s second competition of the year was marked by a strong field, especially Small Prints from our new members. The set subject was Nature and guest judge John Newton from Cronulla Sharks Camera Club was impressed by the range of entries from all grades. He awarded the Photo of the Month to Geraldine Lefoe for her image entitled Lowtide. The photo was taken near Scotts Head on the North Coast of NSW. Geraldine said that dawn photography was always a gamble – you set the alarm and get up very early but you don’t know what you are in for until you get there. However perseverance pays off – eventually!
