Upcoming: “Aspects Of Composition”
On September 6, Dr. Richard Caladine from the University of Wollongong will be presenting a talk to the club entitled “Aspects of Composition”.
From his UOW staff profile:
Richard coordinates the Learning, Innovation and Future Technologies (LIFT) unit, researching and developing future technologies for learning and teaching at University of Wollongong. He regularly hosts staff development opportunities that involve the use of emerging learning technologies.
Richard has a background in video and audio performance and production and has a range of qualifications including a PhD in Information Technology. In over 20 years at University of Wollongong he has helped staff and students acquire film and television production skills, produced educational videotapes, and trained staff in the use of educational technologies. He has also found time to build a television studio, edit a staff development journal, develop computer resources and publish widely in the field. His spare time is spent riding bodyboards, painting, drawing and taking photographs.
