Caroline gave a great talk last night, showing us how she uses layers and masks to create posters and collages. She also had some interesting printed and bound coffee-table-style books she’d made using a service called Momento. They’d make wonderful family albums and treasured gifts for others.
George Hofsteter also joined us again last night. George has another open day coming up on Sunday April 2 as part of the Bundeena Art Trail. Do check it out!
See the Photo Imaging Council of Australia (PICA) site for information on the international Photo Imaging World exhibition to be held April 28th-30th 2006 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Admission is free for all trade, business and professional visitors, but the organisers encourage all to avoid registration queues by registering on the website seven days in advance. Amateur enthusiasts will also be admitted free on the Saturday and Sunday as long as they pre-register on the website. Otherwise, a $12 admission fee can be paid at the door.
