Upcoming: Photojournalism & Social Documentary Comp
Our October 19 club competition has the theme of Photojournalism and Social Documentary.
Photojournalism entries must be story telling pictures as seen in the news media and periodicals. They may include documentary, sport, on the spot news, or human interest.
Social Documentary entries must be concerned with the portrayal and interpretation of society encompassing both human and non-human subject matter.
Local professional photographer Mark Nolan judged our competition last night. Mark shoots for Getty Images, and brought along a fantastic selection of his prints for discussion after the judging.
